I have been running electrical wires the past few weekends… trying to get the basement in shape for use this Christmas. I believe I'm on track to do so… 
Last weekend, we cleaned out the basement – removing all the construction debris and mopping the backrooms (thanks Em!!). The result was amazing – the basement actually looks like a nice room. 
I took some pictures for to document this wonderful event. Enjoy.

Looking North-east after entering the basement from the living room. The door you see on the right will go into a half bathroom. I'm also going to build in a bookshelf into that wall as it is built with 2x6s.
